Privacy policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026
Trainr is a workout tracker operated by Rahul Patidar, an individual developer. This policy covers the Trainr Android app and the Trainr web app. They share one account system and one database, so the same rules apply to both.
What Trainr collects
- Account: your email address. Signing in uses one-time codes sent to that address; Trainr stores no passwords.
- Profile: a display name, and optionally gender, age, height, preferred units, goal weight, and an avatar photo.
- Training data: your programs, workout sessions, and per-set logs (exercise, weight, reps).
- Body data: weight entries, body measurements, and progress photos, if you add them.
That is the complete list. Trainr contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, no crash reporters, and no third-party tracking of any kind. It does not access your location, contacts, or anything else on your device.
How it's used
Your data is used solely to run Trainr: to store what you log and show it back to you. It is never sold, shared, or rented to anyone.
Trainr runs on Supabase, which provides the database, authentication, and file storage. Data travels over HTTPS, and row-level security ensures each account can only ever read its own rows.
Retention
Your data is kept until you delete it, either individual entries in the app or your entire account.
Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time; see delete your account. Deletion is irreversible.
Children
Trainr is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here and the date above is updated.
